History |
|
2009 |
Even in precarious economic times JDI has continued
to grow by more than 13% – clearly by Divine intervention and lots
of hard work. Hats off to the staff and thanks be to the Lord. This
year has enjoyed a record growth in the established markets. |
2008 |
63% growth experienced in spite of the economic
crash in the fall of this year. Critically high fuel costs and the
depreciated USD$ elevated air, hotel and transportation costs in
destination markets. Travel product cost increases resulted in group
sizes averaging slightly smaller than previous years. Customer base
grew by 30%. Biblical tours to the Holy Lands continue to be the
JDI focus. Biblical itineraries and mission outreach groups anchored
with established repeat clientele. Faith based group cruises with
educational seminars and conferences onboard expanded. |
2007 |
Group Travel Services dominate JDI portfolio. Tours
expand to include Egypt in 'History of the Patriarchs' itineraries.
Repeat customers continue to refer their friends and associates
in a steady stream contributing to the ever expanding JDI family
of bible study tour leaders and tour participants. Missions and
ministry tours to all biblical lands increase alongside Pilgrim
visits to the Holy Lands. |
2006 |
A record year for all bible study tour markets.
Custom itinerary skills & on site inspections enhance the hotel
values & introduce the newest sites in the Biblical lands of Israel,
Turkey, Greece & Italy (Rome). |
2005 |
Israel solidarity & Ministry Tours increase as
a result of JDI’s affiliation with the non-profit benevolence ministry
of The Joseph Storehouse inaugurated as a JDI outreach in 2004. |
2004 |
Israel tours increase. Travel to Israel resumes
higher levels and Group Israel travel product expands. Greece and
Rome maintains a growing market. Turkey Bible Study tours increase
market share. Expanded portfolios of custom Bible study itinerary
options.
JDI Travel affiliates with The Joseph Storehouse, a Vision for
Israel Ministry headquartered in Jerusalem, Israel. Becoming a collection
and forwarding Depot in Michigan puts hands to our heart for Israel
and the Jewish people. |
